The School of Law traces its origin to June 1999, having undergone several name changes—from the Department of Business Administration to the Department of Law and Politics, and later to the School of Law and Politics. Guided by the concept of New Liberal Arts, the school adheres to the disciplinary development philosophy of "entering the mainstream, promoting interdisciplinary approaches, emphasizing application, and creating distinctive features." It aims to cultivate high-level legal and social work talents with "a solid foundation, quick adaptability, strong capabilities, and high quality." The school has initially developed into an application-oriented research-based law school with a unique advantage in interdisciplinary integration and differentiated development.
