Preliminary Announcement:
The 10th BRAUIC Conference and Forum 2026
Dear Colleagues,
In 2026, the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium (BRAUIC) enter its 10th year. Since its establishment, BRAUIC has consistently taken the lead in fostering and expanding collaborations with universities and research institutions from the countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. Focusing on innovative talent cultivation and technological exchanges in the field of architecture and engineering, BRAUIC has successfully organized nine editions of the BRAUIC Conference and Forum, hosted by Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA), China (2017); University of Technology Malaysia, Malaysia (2018); Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Russia (2019); JUNIA (Graduate School of Engineering), France (2020, online); University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina (2021, online); BUCEA, China (2022, online); Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia (2023); Tianjin Chengjian University, China (2024), and Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Kazakhstan (2025). These events have provided an international platform for high-level exchanges and dialogues among universities from the Belt and Road participating countries.
To summarize the achievements of educational cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and promote the development of future innovative talent cultivation in the field of architecture, the 10th BRAUIC Conference and Forum 2026 is scheduled to be held in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. The Conference aims to bring together delegates from member universities and government officials, researchers, experts, and entrepreneurs from relevant countries and regions to discuss strategies for enabling high-quality development, therefore improving the quality and efficiency of international education exchanges.
