On the morning of February 27, Shandong Jianzhu University held a meeting on the promotion of Sino-foreign cooperation, presided over by Wang Qingbiao, member of the Party Committee and vice president.

At the meeting, Li Xiao, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, introduced China's relevant policy requirements on Sino-foreign cooperation, briefly reviewed the history of Sino-foreign cooperation in our university, analyzed the current opportunities and challenges, and made arrangements for the next step, especially for the application of Sino-foreign cooperation projects and institutions.

Wang Qingbiao combined with the implementation of the spirit of the fourth Party Congress of the university and the spirit of the 2025 annual work conference on Sino-foreign cooperation in university application put forward clear requirements: First, we should attach great importance to the work of Sino-foreign cooperation in university running and cultivate international talents with international vision. In the era of globalization, Sino-foreign cooperative education provides students with a curriculum system and teaching methods that are in line with international standards. From the perspective of the whole cycle of talent training, students can have access to international cutting-edge academic knowledge and diverse cultural concepts without going abroad, enrich their learning experience, broaden their international vision, and lay a solid foundation for participating in international competition in the future. Second, we will promote the high-quality development of disciplines and specialties. Through close cooperation with foreign universities, our teachers have more opportunities to participate in international academic exchanges and teaching seminars, which helps to update teaching concepts, master advanced teaching methods, promote teachers to keep pace with international scientific research, and improve the overall academic level and scientific research strength of the school. Third, optimize school education and teaching resources. Through the introduction of foreign high-quality educational resources, optimize the allocation of their own educational resources, and inject new vitality into the high-quality development of the school. He pointed out that the school is the main body of Sino-foreign cooperation in running a school, to give full play to the initiative of running a school, to set up international education work in a timely manner, take the initiative to connect with well-known foreign universities, accurately grasp the policy, combined with the school's own disciplinary characteristics and professional advantages, find the entry point of cooperation in running a school, pragmatic and efficient promotion of Sino-foreign cooperation in running a school; As the leading coordinating department, the International Department should take the initiative to provide timely, accurate and thoughtful services to the relevant colleges. He also pointed out that in accordance with the principle of "who runs the school who benefits", the university will also provide funding, policies, resources and other aspects of support and guarantee to high-quality cooperative schools.
