Shandong Jianzhu University Holds the First Meeting of the Foreign Affairs Leading Group in 2026

On January 8, 2026, the first meeting of the Foreign Affairs Leading Group of the Communist Party of China Shandong Jianzhu University Committee in 2026 was held in the No.1 Conference Room. Yu Dehu, Group Leader, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was hosted by Wang Qingbiao, Group Deputy Leader, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President.

The meeting successively listened to the reports on the 2024 school-running situation of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects from 3 colleges, reviewed the extension of the enrollment validity period of 3 Sino-foreign cooperative education projects including Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Environmental Design, listened to the report on the approval result of "Shandong Jianzhu University Salamanca College", and reviewed the 2026 Sino-foreign cooperative education application plan.

When presiding over the meeting, Wang Qingbiao emphasized that Sino-foreign cooperative education is an important part of the university's internationalization work. The high-quality operation of existing projects and the application for new projects are related to the continuity of school-running and the quality of talent training, as well as the disciplinary balance and high-quality development of the university. All relevant departments and colleges should attach great importance to it, make precise connections, and ensure the steady progress of various work.

Yu Dehu fully affirmed the achievements made in the university's Sino-foreign cooperative education work, and also pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies. He said that all departments should take this meeting as an opportunity to build consensus, clarify directions, do a good job in the relevant work of existing Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, plan the construction of "Shandong Jianzhu University Salamanca College", and make advance plans, close cooperation and ensure the orderly progress of work around the 2026 application plan. It is necessary to summarize work experience, optimize work ideas, focus on the core of talent training, continuously improve the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education, and promote the university's internationalization work to a new level with a pragmatic spirit.
