Delegation from Jinan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration Visits Shandong Jianzhu University for Research and Discussion
On the afternoon of November 3, a 5-member delegation from Jinan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration, together with Licheng Sub-bureau, visited Shandong Jianzhu University to conduct a special research and discussion on the management and service guarantee work for foreign experts (teachers) and international students. Wang Qingbiao, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President, attended the forum.
At the forum, on behalf of the university, Wang Qingbiao extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Jinan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration and highly praised their professional guidance and strong support in the field of foreign affairs management. He pointed out that the university has always regarded foreign-related management as a key link in its international development, and expected to further deepen the police-university cooperation mechanism through this exchange, so as to jointly create a safe, standardized and friendly foreign-related environment.
The Jinan Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration introduced its innovative measures and remarkable achievements in the field of foreign-related management and services, and fully affirmed the university's achievements in the employment of foreign experts, the training and daily management of international students. At the same time, it pointed out that the current management of foreign teachers and students is facing new challenges. In particular, due to factors such as language and cultural differences, unclear understanding of laws and regulations, and insufficient cross-departmental coordination, the management of international students in China is quite difficult. Combining practical cases, it conducted an in-depth analysis of pain points such as visa compliance supervision, dynamic residence tracking, and emergency disposal, and suggested that the university actively learn from the advanced experience of similar institutions, and improve work efficiency through the dual drive of "precision services + intelligent management".
Subsequently, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions around core topics such as "improvement of daily management efficiency", "optimization of police-university linkage mechanism", and "whole-process management of visa compliance". Regarding issues concerned by foreign teachers and students, such as the handling of residence permits, the standardization of social practice, and the prevention of legal risks, the participants shared their experiences in combination with work practices and put forward constructive solutions. The two parties unanimously agreed to establish a normalized liaison mechanism, and build a solid security line for foreign-related management through measures such as information sharing, joint training, and emergency coordination.
This research and discussion focused on needs, was pragmatic and efficient. It not only demonstrated the sense of responsibility of Jinan Public Security Bureau to take proactive actions and serve universities, but also reflected Shandong Jianzhu University's international school-running philosophy of "promoting development through management and gathering people's hearts through services", laying a solid foundation for building a safe campus and a harmonious police-university relationship.
