On November 7, Christian Werner, Director of the German University of Applied Technology of Management, and Dr. Li Bing, consultant on China affairs, visited Shandong Jianzhu University.
Yu Dehu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shandong Jianzhu University, met with the guests and extended a warm welcome to the delegation from German University of Applied Management. President Yu Dehu expressed that the German University of Applied Management and Shandong Jianzhu University have vast cooperation opportunities in disciplines such as intelligent construction, industrial engineering, and engineering management. He hoped that the two universities would use this visit as an opportunity to further promote exchanges and cooperation, ensuring that practical cooperation between the two universities continues to yield fruitful results, and to jointly create a model for educational and cultural exchanges between China and Germany. Christian Werner highly praised the development and academic achievements of Shandong Jianzhu University. He said that the German University of Applied Management will closely connect with our university, enhance communication, and promote exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in collaborative education, talent development, student and faculty exchanges, scientific research, etc. He also expressed confidence in the continuous advancement of practical cooperation between the two universities. After the meeting, Yu Dehu accompanied the delegation to visit the teaching facilities such as the smart City exhibition hall, the passive building and the campus landscape such as the old villa.
The delegation also observed the class of Professor Li Xiangjun, deputy dean of the School of Management Engineering, in Bowen Building, and interacted with the students. They visited simulation laboratory of School of Management engineering, and experienced the VR simulation engineering system. In the School of Management Engineering, the two sides had in-depth communication and negotiation on cooperative education, exchanges between teachers and students, and both sides indicated that they would work closely together to continuously achieve exchanges and cooperation results in talent cultivation, scientific research and other aspects.

German University of Applied Management is the largest private university in Bavaria, Germany.
