Delegation from Lincoln University College, Malaysia Visits Shandong Jianzhu University
On December 19, 2025, a delegation from Lincoln University College, Malaysia visited Shandong Jianzhu University. Yu Dehu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shandong Jianzhu University, met with the delegation led by Amiya Bhaumik, President of Lincoln University College. Relevant personnel from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department and the School of Business attended the meeting.

Yu Dehu welcomed the visit of Amiya Bhaumik and his delegation, introduced the basic situation of Shandong Jianzhu University, such as its school-running history and disciplinary and professional characteristics. He said that the traditional friendship between China and Malaysia has a long history and is unbreakable, becoming a model of good-neighborliness, mutual exchange and learning, and solidarity and cooperation. The two universities have many common points in disciplinary and professional settings, and there is great potential for cooperation between the two parties. He hoped that the two parties would conduct in-depth discussions on teacher-student exchanges, joint student training, teaching and scientific research cooperation and other aspects, effectively carry out pragmatic cooperation, and achieve complementary advantages and win-win results. Amiya Bhaumik introduced the development history, disciplinary advantages and international cooperation of Lincoln University College. He said that Lincoln University College has been committed to providing students with high-quality educational resources and an international learning environment, and hoped to conduct in-depth discussions on exchange and cooperation matters with our university. The two parties exchanged views on exchange and cooperation matters and reached consensus on many aspects.

During the visit to the university, Amiya Bhaumik also attended the "2025 Academic Report on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy" co-hosted by the International Exchange and Cooperation Department and the School of Business, and gave a report titled "The Development and Future Prospects of China-Malaysia Educational Cooperation" at the meeting. After the meeting, Amiya Bhaumik visited the School of Business, held discussions with the International Exchange and Cooperation Department and the School of Business on cooperation matters such as student exchange and study, joint student training, cooperative school-running, and scientific research cooperation, and further clarified the cooperation matters and promotion arrangements.
