●  2018 awarded RMB 250,000 from the National Natural Science Foundation of China to explore Study on finger vein pattern extraction and recognition methods under uncontrolled environment as the Principal Investigator.

●  2021 awarded RMB 580,000 from the National Natural Science Foundation of China to explore Study on key problems of finger vein recognition for embedded applications as the Principal Investigator.
