Master's Degree in Computer Application Technology
The degree program of Computer Application Technology is based on the discipline of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong Jianzhu University, which was approved as the second-level master's degree authorization point in 2006 and started to enroll in 2007. In recent years, it has cultivated nearly 100 outstanding master students.
The discipline currently has three stable research directions.
Direction of Big Data and Knowledge Engineering researches on the theory and technology of big data processing and analysis in urban computing, mainly including: big data processing technology, on-line analysis technology of structured and semi-structured data, data mining and knowledge discovery, intelligent information retrieval technology, development and application of information management system and decision support system, etc.
Direction of Network System and Security researches on network, system and security issues in urban computing. The main contents include: protocol testing and protocol engineering, network service quality control technology, computer network performance analysis and network simulation technology, digital media technology and application, wireless self-organizing network and cooperative computing technology and application, information security technology and application, network-oriented embedded system, cloud computing system, etc.
Direction of Theory and Application of Intelligent Computing researches on artificial intelligence theories such as machine learning, deep learning and bio-computing to solve deep knowledge mining problems in urban operations, mainly covering: artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep learning, bio-computing, computer vision and understanding, data visualization, high-performance system architecture for intelligent computing, etc.

Major Overview: This major is the first-class & distinguishing major in Shandong province, which is selected by the Ministry of Education and Shandong province for the "Excellent Engineer Education Training Program". It has formed the characteristics of "focusing on the foundation, emphasizing practice, and facing the frontier". At present, there are two training directions of computer system, network and information security.
Cultivation Objective: This major cultivates students with professional knowledge of computer science and technology, mastering computer hardware and software theory and system design, implementation, development and application methods; possessing engineering skills of analyzing and solving problems in computer-related industries; possessing innovative consciousness and solid practical skills; having good organization and coordination ability and team cooperation spirit; and being able to engage in computer engineering and system development, network engineering design and implementation, network security maintenance and related software development in information industry departments; having a certain international vision of the industry as applied senior professionals.
Main courses: programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, discrete mathematics, digital logic and digital systems, computer composition principles, computer networks, data structures, database principles and applications, operating systems, software engineering, network operating systems, algorithm analysis and design, compilation principles. Among them, the computer system direction mainly includes circuit electronics, computer architecture, assembly language and interface technology, embedded system design, embedded Linux software development, etc.; the network and information security direction mainly includes network equipment configuration and management, network planning and design, applied cryptography, network security technology, network programming technology, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering
Basic course of study: 4 years
Length of study: 3-6 years
Major Overview: Based on theory of computer science and communication, this major mainly studies principles of computer network, design and maintenance, software development of network application, applied cryptography and basic principles and key technologies of network security, focusing on the unity of basic theory and engineering applications. The characteristics of "emphasizing comprehensive ability, focusing on personality training and highlighting university characteristics" are formed in this major.
Cultivation Objective: Based on the principle of "solid foundation, wide caliber, emphasis on practice, strong ability and high quality", cultivate students who will systematically master the basic theory, basic knowledge, basic skills and methods of network and information security; receive strict scientific thinking and experimental training; have security awareness, the ability of planning, design, management and maintenance of computer network systems and network application software. The program is designed and developed to cultivate applied senior professionals to meet the needs of national security production and social development.
Main Courses: data structure, computer composition principle, communication principle, operating system, database principle and application, computer network, network equipment configuration and management, network planning and design, network programming technology, information security foundation, applied cryptography, network security technology and cloud computing security, etc.
Career Direction: Graduates of this major can be engaged in the design and implementation of network engineering, network management and maintenance, network security, network application system development and other related technical and management work in government agencies, educational schools, finance, telecommunications, high-tech enterprises, system integration companies, software companies, etc. They can be engaged in the research, design, development and system maintenance of information security systems and their applications in information security-related fields. There is wide range of employment, and students can also apply for the master's degree in computer-related majors in this or similar disciplines.
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering

Major Overview: Software engineering is the study of engineering methods to build and maintain effective, practical and high-quality software. Software technology has become the foundation and driving force of the advancement of society, which can bring more new and better ways of working, learning and playing, including improving people's health, safety and travel. Current emerging technologies are inseparable from the support of software technology, such as: artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things, etc. This major has two training directions: enterprise application development and internet application development. The direction of enterprise application development focuses on design of system architecture, development of enterprise-level application software, design and development of distributed software based on cloud computing. The direction of Internet application development focuses on the design and development of front-end architecture of internet application software, as well as data storage and testing technology for Internet applications. It mainly cultivates software development engineers, software testing engineers, technical support engineers and software development supervisors.
Cultivation Objective: The objective is to cultivate senior professionals in the field of software engineering with good engineering awareness, professional ethics, innovation and lifelong learning ability. To adapt to the needs of society and the software industry, we aim to cultivate software engineering professionals who are well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic development, have knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, master the basic theory, professional knowledge and professional skills of software engineering, have the ability to model, design, develop, test, manage and serve application-level software systems.

Major Overview: The major of data science and big data technology is a compound major with a high degree of integration of mathematics, statistics and computer science, and is a new engineering major approved by the ministry of education.
Cultivation Objective: With the guiding ideology of cultivating students' data thinking and data value discovery ability, and facing the demand for big data research and application in the development of smart city, the major cultivates students with comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor, good political quality and moral cultivation; mastering the basic theories and methods of statistics, mathematics, computer science and other disciplines for data application; proficiently mastering the collection, storage, processing, analysis, display and application of big data and having a good understanding of big data. They should have good scientific literacy, innovation consciousness, engineering practice ability, teamwork ability, and ability to analyze and deal with complex engineering problems of big data, and be capable of using big data methods to analyze and deal with complex engineering problems in smart city.
