I. Major Cultivation Objectives
The English major of Cross-border E-commerce is an undergraduate project of school-enterprise cooperation between our school and Shandong ZHIBO Education Technology Co., Ltd.
The college cooperates with enterprises to develop forward-looking, pragmatic professional courses and training systems to cultivate cross-border e-commerce talents for English majors, so that students have good foreign language communication skills and knowledge of international trade and cross-border e-commerce, and constantly strengthen students' professional application ability, so that students can meet the needs of the development of the Internet economy and have English and cross-border e-commerce composite application ability.
II. Major Cultivation Requirements
1. Ideological:
Students should have correct views on the world, life and values, and possess good ideological and political qualities, strong professional ethics, high sense of social responsibility and social adaptability, as well as open-minded visions for exploration and innovation.
2. Professional skills:
Students should systematically master the basic theory and knowledge of English language, literature, politics, economics, social culture, and receive adequate skills training in English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, master certain knowledge of science and technology, economics and trade, and construction, and possess the ability to engage in foreign-related translation, engineering management, research, teaching and management in the construction industry.
Graduates are supposed to acquire knowledge and competencies in the following areas:
(1) Awareness of the relevant guidelines, policies and regulations of China.
(2) Positive ideological and moral qualities, healthy psychological qualities and positive values in life.
(3) A solid foundation in English language, proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating and a strong ability to use English comprehensively.
(4) A broad knowledge of English humanities and social sciences.
(5) A broad knowledge background and international perspective in foreign-related construction translation and engineering management.
(6) Excellent Chinese expression ability and basic research ability, and a strong practical ability of foreign-related translation.
(7) Basic ability of practical application of a second foreign language.
(8) Mastery of the basic methods of literature search and data inquiry, and have preliminary scientific research and practical working ability.
3. Sports Education
Students should have certain knowledge of physical education and the military, develop good physical exercise and health habits to meet the national standards of physical education and military training for college students, and have a sound mind and a healthy body.
4. Labor Education
Students should have correct views of labor, and have good labor attitude and habits as well as certain labor skills. Students should also develop the spirit of hard work and strengthen their empathy for working people in order to serve the country and contribute to society.
5. Aesthetic Education
Students should establish a correct and progressive sense of aesthetics, have certain artistic cultivation and aesthetic interests, and be able to feel beauty, identify beauty, appreciate beauty, and create beauty.

1. Total course hours: 2570 hours (150 credits), including 1922 hours (112.5 credits) of compulsory courses, accounting for 74.7% (75%), and 648 hours (37.5 credits) of elective courses, accounting for 25.3% (25%). Theoretical teaching courses have 2288 hours (132.4 credits) and practical teaching courses have 282 hours (17.6 credits).
2. The intensive practical teaching sessions have 33.5 credits, including 2 credits for each of the extracurricular practice and innovation activities.
