School of Thermal Engineering Successfully Held Alumni Academic Forum on the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of Shandong Jianzhu University

In the afternoon of October 12th, the School of Thermal Engineering held an alumni academic forum in Room 503 of the Passive Building. As one of the series of activities for celebrating the 65th anniversary of the founding of Shandong Jianzhu University, the forum was hosted by the School of Thermal Engineering in a combination of online and offline ways. The theme of the forum was "Building Energy and Habitat Technologies in the Context of Dual Carbon Target". Three renowned alumni were specially invited to give keynote presentations to teachers and students. They are "Taishan Scholar", Professor Li Angui, who graduated from HVAC class 803, comes from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology; Professor Lv Lin, who graduated from HVAC class 921, came from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and Researcher Cao Guoqing who graduated from HVAC class 962, came from China Academy of Building Research.  Professor Cui Ping, the Vice Dean of the College, chaired the meetings.

Professor Zhang Linhua, the Dean of the School of Thermal Engineering, delivered an opening speech. And the three alumni experts separately delivered presentations on "Environmental Protection and Airflow Organization in Daylight Greenhouses", "Functional Nano-coating Technology and Its Application in Intelligent Building Envelopes" and "Indoor Microbial Pollution Problems in Buildings and Reflections on Their Solutions". During the conference, both the participating teachers and postgraduates actively interacted with the experts and had an in-depth exchange on the new technologies, materials and methods in energy utilization and habitat environment in the context of the "Dual Carbon" target. The presentation played a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of the college academic discipline.
