V. Introduction of Presenters
1. Li Angui is a Level-2 Professor (Professors in China fall into 4 levels) and Doctoral Supervisor of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. Li is also the Dean of School of Building Services Science and Engineering, State Council Expert for Special Allowance, and National Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contribution. He is the head of the national first-class profession and specialties of HVAC. And he was once selected in "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project" and the first batch of "Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University" which was supported by the Ministry of Education. Besides, he has presided over and completed more than 100 national, provincial and significant works of environmental protection projects. His research achievements have won two Second Prize of National Technical Invention (the first one) and first and second prizes of provincial science and technology award 12 times. Moreover, Li has published more than 300 academic papers, including more than 100 SCI papers, granted more than 70 invention patents, written 7 national or industry standards/ guidelines, published 11 monographs/ textbooks.
2. Lv Lin, Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. As the main project leader, she has obtained over 30 research grants (more than HK$20 million in total). Among more than 150 SCI papers and 5 monographs she has published, 9 of them are rated as highly cited SCI papers. Awards Lv has won include Silver Medal of the 40th Geneva Invention Award in 2012, Merit Award of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineering Industry Innovation Award in 2013, Gold Award and Special Award at the 44th Geneva Invention Award in 2016, and Global Innovation Award at TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo in 2017, USA.
3. Cao Guoqing, Ph.D., Researcher, Doctoral Supervisor, and Registered Public Equipment Engineer (HVAC). Cao is the director of the Purification Technology Research Centre of China Academy of Building Research and the project leader of the National Key Research and Development Program of the "13th Five-Year Plan". He also works as a member of the Professional Committee of the National Health Care Commission on Medical and Health Care Construction Equipment Standards. Last but not least, Cao has hosted/ participated in 6 national scientific research projects, edited or participated in more than 20 national/ industry standards, won 4 provincial science and technology achievement awards, obtained more than 10 national invention patents, and won 3 China Architecture Design Awards for the design projects he has completed.
